Porcello Cantina restaurant was opened by the founders of a popular downtown Toronto restaurant, Vertical on King Street, that has been a fixture for over twenty years in the heart of the financial district. These seasoned restauranteurs had a vision for Porcello Cantina to be a hive of activity. The aim of the restaurant was to catering to both those who want to enjoy a casual yet atmospheric sit down lunch with a glass of wine in a vibrant setting, as well as customers looking to dash in and pick up quality pre-made meals to be heated up at home. They had a succinct vision that the restaurant identity would carry the vibe of trendsetting restaurants in San Francisco. Something fresh and contemporary with a subtle vintage-Italian edge to pay homage to the head chef and part owner Giacomo Pasquini. The logo had to be clean, crisp and yet relaxed and playful. The typography had to be just right.
The restaurant quickly turned into a local hotspot and remains popular since they opened their doors in 2015. Book your reservation today!
