In May of 2019, Peerage Realty Partners announced their acquisition of Sotheby's International Realty Canada (SIRC). In just three weeks, the Peerage team crafted the communications package to announce this exciting deal to the SIRC agents, which included a press release, welcome video and FAQ's in both French and English. Knowing that this was a sensitive announcement with many stakeholders involved, Peerage wanted to be sure we communicated all of the important elements as smoothly as possible. To ensure the news was delivered in an efficient, equitable and exciting manner, we decided to produce a short video, which would be released to SIRC agents the night before the press outlets were notified.
Sarah was responsible for providing the concept, storyboard, copy and art direction to Innertainment, who produced the welcome video and liaise with the SIRC and SIR marketing teams to ensure it fit with their brand guidelines. Current research shows that over 80% of viewers are now watching videos with the sound off so we opted for a captioned approach with stock music.
